"Stories tell us of what we already know and forgot, and remind us of what we haven't yet imagined "

                                                                                                             -- Anne L. Watson

Storytelling inspires, engages, and propels people toward transformation.  Used strategically, storytelling can be a powerful tool to help your organization achieve its goals.  During this seminar and workshop, Rich Krevolin and Jessica R. Dreistadt will show you how you can use storytelling to:

   - Create an emotional connection between your organization and donors

   - Persuade donors and volunteers to renew and strengthen their commitment and increase their level of support

   - Generate interest, enthusiasm, and support for community solutions

   - Demonstrate your organization's and community's capacity and needs

   - Transcend gaps in understanding and create a culture of inclusion

   - Enhance staff commitment to mission and objectives

   - Improve the tone and texture of your proposals and printed materials

   - Increase donations, grant funding, and other support for your organization

   - Add dimension to your leadership and communication styles

This year, there have been articles in the Wall Street Journal, The Harvard Business Journal, and the MIT Journal of Management Studies about the need for good storytelling in the business world.  All of these articles clearly state that the key to success in any company is firmly based on the stories that are told within that organizational culture.  And these articles all show that there is only one link that unites all the great leaders throughout history - they were all good storytellers.  They all understood the fundamentals of story, used these fundamentals to communicate their vision, and became inspiring and compelling leaders as a result.

"Nobody brings more energy, passion, depth of insight to a company meeting or training session than Prof K.  In fact,  we loved what he had to say and learned so much, we had him repeat his lecture all over the world for the other colleagues." -- Demet Gulec, Global Brand Manager, Unilever, Bangkok, Thailand

"learn the rules to be able to break them - Professor Krevolin is a great, entertaining presenter!  We were glad to be a part of this masterclass!" -- Debu Purkayastha, J. Walter Thompson, Mumbai, India

"It has been our pleasure to work closely with Richard over the past year.  Aside from obvious qualifications in the art and skill of scriptwriting, Richard has proven a very effective and stimulating teacher.  His passion for the subject is contagious and has been invaluable in overcoming and winning over even the most cynical members of our team.  I would not hesitate to recommend Richard because he not only possesses the academic knowledge of his subject but, most importantly,  the passion needed to truly bring it to life." -- Richard Clegg, Worldwide Director-in-Charge, Unilever
